Trending @HCL; New Bench Policy

Recently I have been assigned to Bench , and I got mail from the bench manager that after 60 days if you don't get any project , the HR will call you for the exit formalities.

How strict are they with this policy?

Secondly if I get the opportunity outside of HCL will they release me immediately?

My third Question is When I am searching for opportunities outside the HCL the new company's HR won't consider me as an Immediate joiner until I resign , they don't consider the Bench period as Immediate or close to Immediate joiner? So how should I convince them ?

  1. It totally depends on your CTC and experience. I crossed 60days of Bench but didnt got any call from HR.
  2. Yes they will release you in 15 days or less then that.
  3. Then that company is not MNC, may be low level or some kind of startup, generally MMC will accept. You can convience them if they will not then move to another. Its suggested to put paper when you have atleast 1 offer in your hand.

I got rejected from MNC , they said when you are on the bench we don't consider it as a notice period . We need someone who can join within a month.

Don't worry you will get a project, if not get released and join any organisation.

You will have to convince the HR to release you early. They will get convinced easily as they will think from the company's perspective.
