Trending @HCL; Need Fresher Advice!

Hello everyone, I will be joining from Aug 1 this year in HCL Software as a fresher. I would like to clarify some of questions that I have:

  1. Will a location change be possible?
  2. Will the company provide accommodation for initial days? And will the travel expenses will also be reimbursed?
  3. Also, we are not yet told of any training period at the start, please can someone elaborate on the same.

Hi, I am part of HCL software product team from last 4 years and never been go office for work purpose. Only went for official visit to meet peers. It’s a happy place for me.

Location can be get changed as per your project requirement No accommodations and travel expense reimbursement for freshers You’ll be notified of training period once onboarded as this depends LOB to LOB

  1. No, Even if your manager agree, HR will not agree in few cases. For freshers its difficult. Also if u got tier 2 locations then its more difficult to relocate.
  2. No, Arrange own
  3. Keep Checking your HCL portal u might got basic trainings there.

Location change can be possible if you have a good manager, the company mostly doesn't provide travel expenses, Training period will be there once you joined

  1. No until you have very strong reason
  2. Yes, check with your HR. Not sure about travel expenses
  3. Once you join the project you'll come to know
