Trending @HCL; My ctc is 1211155/- shall I opt for new regime from April 2025 or do I need to opt in from now i.e. Feb 2025 ?

I hope there will be no tax deduction from April 2025 onwards if I opt for new regime.

Please understand assessment year. We are currently in 2024 Apr to 2025 Mar.. The 12 lakhs exemption is applicable from 2025 Apr to 2026 Mar
