Everyone talk negative where they work , it’s human behaviour, when I was in Capgemini everyone talk bad about Capgemini, now I am here , and people saying same for hcl , bro , you have job in MNC , be grateful if you need more money, update your skills and crack a product base company interview

In my experience, Capgemini has been the most challenging due to a highly toxic project environment and 💩 colleagues I left in just 10 months. I had a very positive experience at Infosys and HCL has also been good compared to Capgemini. Ultimately everything depends on the project, teammates and the manager.

You mentioned only few negative things , there are 100 more shitty things in HCL... The cheapest thing you will notice is the only big service company which gives zero gifts on holi/Diwali... Even a small company with 10-20 headcount will give a gift of 500rs on festivals...cheapness at its best in HCL

As per me Gift doesn't matter much, we should get some hike in appraisal.

That is why clients never prefer HCL when they have any critical project they prefer Infosys and Accenture, even if hcl bid is lowest 🤣

It surely is. In 2026 they enforce location based restrictions (like not greater than 100km) for projects.

Means? Can you give one example

Means there are travel restrictions, you cannot get approval for more than 100km from the project..

Why HCL not releasing the hike letters hike cycle was completed 3 months back, they are taking interest on all our hike money

To stop people from switching, now people will think about the next appraisal and again wait for a year and the cycle continues... Last year they released in Dec, this year Jan, next year Feb... And so on

Yes 100% worst company because there is no increment and politics are there because some managers are managing the technical project but they are belong to bpo or any other non technical fields

That's the biggest concern. In my project the management is more concerned about the Pull Request count. Also we were facing some challenges wrt an API payload, they suggested we should call the API without using any request payload and complete the milestone 🥲.

I am also feeling sad. No increment and recognition in HCL.
