Trending @HCL; I joined week back RM told that project which I got hired did not convert. What to do..?

I recently joined Hcl after joining got know that project I got hired was not converted I am in bench and RM told I will look another project, but call he arranged total different skill set and project manger upfront told you cannot be taken as skill set does not match , devasted after this and the uncertainty this holds . Was there in another organisation with stable job low salary but now not sure what next
