Tailgating is not allow in HCl. If your management doesn't help you in this , HR can do this

Hr bol rahi hai mare taraf se mater close hai but mare manager se puch rahi hai app log project side se kya action leya hai

Tailgating is not allowed in any organization, its clearly mentioned that you need to resign if you caught while doing that. So I think better you do resign else in next company for BGV they will say this thing.
