I’m Currently having 10yrs of experience as full stack Developer working with HCL since last 2 yrs. I don’t get any hike as of now. Current CTC 26lpa. Do you think I’m underpaid?
Everyone is underpaid in hcl. There is no question. It is the culture of this company. Either live with it or leave it.
I earn 10 LPA with 15 years of experience. Am I underpaid? Of course I am—if I keep comparing myself to those earning more. People often focus on comparing incomes but overlook expenses.
I have modest expenses and desires. For me, 10 LPA is enough. I don’t have much extra to give to others, and in some ways, that’s a relief. If you have the means but don’t help those in need, that guilt can be far worse than feeling underpaid.
Some people have investments and savings but still avoid helping others, claiming their pockets are empty. I wonder how they sleep peacefully after telling themselves such a lie."
