Trending @HCL; Experience and future

I joined HCL in January 2024 as a Senior Software Engineer (E1.2) with over 3 years of experience. In February, I started working on a project for the USAA client, one of HCL's top 5 clients. My performance has impressed the managers, and my current manager depends on me for various tasks. He has given me a GP rating for FY 23-24 and supports my participation in lead meetings. He has also mentioned potential nearshore opportunities and a technical lead position in the future, promising to do all he can to help me progress.

However, my manager will be going onsite in a couple of weeks and will be replaced by a new manager from a different location. I feel uncertain and concerned about what will happen next. Will I still get a hike or promotion?
