Trending @HCL; Even after completing 5 years at hcl, there is no promotion or salary normalization.. is it common in hcl? How to demand for promotion

First year I was Boot licking and gossiping, I was the information broadcasting I got 8% hike but I realised I was loosing friends.

This year I stopped and got 4% hike with good friends

It's been 4 fours, and nothing changed in compensation. But changed roles positions for different projects under same BU/Vertical.
My manager has been praising me in all platforms or team meetings . But still nothing changed. Last year they said BU/Vertical didn't meet targets but all higher management got promoted but not a drop of it at lower levels

That’s true last 6.5 years I have not got any promotion or hike .. I raised many times … one needs God father or u have to be part of some network or lick their boots then it’s possible

Same here 7.5years in HCL, so now I am serving notice period with 80% hike.

I got my first promotion and salary hike of 5% in annual performance after two years of completion here
