Trending @HCL; Discussion about Silent Layoffs at HCL
Has anyone experienced or heard about the recent silent layoffs happening at HCL? If so, how has it impacted you or your team? Let's share our experiences and thoughts on this matter
Two of my friends were in a project for more than 4.5 years as project was nearing to SOW end date there were pushed to bench Aug 2024 but last week HR called them and forced to submit resignation refer to their three ways in bench....what to say hcl earned continously for more than 4 years from these guys but for just three weeks in bench cant they wait them to get a new project...this is not the first time...
Hcl culture completely changed after roshini Nadar and vijayakumar took charge
- Catalyst fund 1500/ year was cancelled, means they r not ready to spend approx Rs.120 per month for an employee
- No one knows the appraisal cycle
- Even monthly pay having a variable component so ur salary varies every quarter
- Cafe runs under Hungerbox...simply waste
- Management thinks exp people can be swapped by techbee, which impacting the quality of work. can't blame techbee as they are just came out of colleges/ 12th grade. Techbee program is a Bite for freshers where they hire and spoil their careers
- Once side they r conducting silent layoffs but conducting walk-in for same skill set and looking to onboard at cheap rate
- HR team - 80% job to convince employee to quit and 20% document the same.
Don't care about hcl since they don't care u...

Yes, many of my colleagues got transferred from 2-3 locations within a month from Chennai to madurai and madurai to Lucknow without their consent. If person refused that transfer they asked to read the consent to transfer line in offer letter and forcefully making them to resign. If a person reports there then they again transfer to another location else they send abscond mail and termination. I have seen this happen to my 4 co-workers. All of them were working more than 5 years in Hcl.Their last words were "DON'T TURN BACK HCL EVEN IF THEY PAY YOU 50 LPA" 🤧

True

Insightful and Noted, thanks for sharing.

Please dont blame HCL ALONE , i really seen so many horrible people working in the projects.
And they dont learn anything and surviving. no professionalism.
