Letters have started rolling out today from the L4 heads across projects. Unfortunately, more than 50% of people are receiving “unchanged,” and even for those who did receive an increase, the spike seems to be only around 2%–5% of the maximum.

It’s tough to see this, especially when many of the folks receiving “unchanged” have been putting in serious effort and consistently delivering. Regardless of budget constraints, this kind of outcome can feel discouraging and raises questions around how performance and impact are being recognized.
