Trending @HCL; Currently in Fixed Pay and what if they changed to Variable Pay?

Hi All, I joined HCL last year May Month with the 1 year fixed Pay offer so currently i am getting X number in hand... If they are going to Change to Variable Pay how much they probably add? So my in-hand salary will get reduced to X-(Y%)?

Is it okay to demand X in hand salary also needed after deduction of variable pay ? Will they match with appraisal?

Has anyone faced this kind of issue? How you handle?
