One of my colleague got an email of 28 days bench period but pmo told it's 90 days hr said to get project within 45 days after that forced resign if you get within 4& days we will retain else go and search outside. Who is correct as per latest policy.

HR is correct. I'd be suggesting to look for opportunities outside HCLTech as you'll be eligible for early release on the bench. So yeah, it's the golden period for getting good opportunities as you can portray yourself as an immediate joiner.
