Trending @HCL; Bench notice period
My friend is on bench from last 3 months and now HR is forcing him to resign otherwise we will HR action. Hr is saying that notice period is of 15 days but when he is trying to resign on Ioffboard on hcl site is shows him three month notice period. He can resign but want to have 3 months notice period as there is no offer in hand for him right now. What all you suggest?
Don’t wait for any retain option, try to put immediate joiner in your profile. Surly he will be placed as soon as possible
Firstly In the ioffboard portal it will show 3 months but in the backend HR will prepone his Last working day to 15 days frm the date of resignation.
Secondly ask ur friend to check with HR about benefits he will get for early release , as per the process company should pay him 3 months Basic pay + Leave encashment in Full and final settlement, these benefits will allow him to meet the expenses for next couple of months until he can search a new job
Update everywhere on naukri linkedin instahyre everywhere serving notice period try to get referal from friend or relatives. Cold email to hr everyday. Try to get 3 months notice if possible. Else tell hr wherever applyibg for 15 days left in notice they will schedule an interview for you
