Trending @HCL; Base location issue

My base location is hyderabad. However I am originally from Kolkata. I got to know that the work from office policy is of 12 days monthly means it can be clustered. My question is

  1. Will the weekends count ? So that I can stay in Hyderabad for 12 days at work and then catch a flight to kolkata.

  2. Is this the optimal plan ? Any other suggestions. I already had a talk with them . They won't change my base location to kolkata.

Nope it has to be half a month like 2 and a half week

Also do you know anything about per day PG in Hyderabad?

There is no per day pg for 2 and a half week it will cost 75 to 80% or may be more in comparison to 30days
