Trending @HCL; Already bored, planning to switch

Hi all,

I joined HCL three months ago, but I am finding the job role unsatisfying as it lacks coding opportunities, which is making me consider switching by the end of this year.

I have a doubt regarding the clause mentioned in the offer letter, which states that I cannot join any competitive company to HCL within six months of my last working day here. Could anyone clarify which companies are considered competitive to HCL? Is this clause strictly enforced, or is it more of a standard formality?

Specifically, I’m curious if companies like IBM or Accenture fall under this category?
