Trending @Cognizant; Yearly increment (hike) after promotion

Hi folks,

Do we get any hike in August if someone got promoted in q4 or q1?

Does the hike related to promotion or everybody will get hike either got promoted or not?

Yes, if promotion is in cycle then we will get the hike in yearly cycle. If off cycle promotion then no

What is off cycle promotion ??

Any promotion which is not in regular cycle. Current Q4 promotion is not off cycle as well as Q1 is also not off cycle. But if anyone is getting promoted through IJM(Internal Job Movement) then it is off cycle promotion.
