Trending @Cognizant; When will I get promoted to A from PA
I was onboarded on 7th July'22. I completed my 30 months in Q1'25.
My utilisation was 74.7 as of Q4'24 quarter but it will increase this quarter.
I have not been able to follow RTO guidelines as I have to work on UK shift. And I work extra hours everyday as I do 2 mans job.
My manager and resource manager told me they will try to talk about RTO to HR but I doubt they will try.
Do you think if they try I will get promoted in April? Or is it at the end of the quarter. Then it will be almost 3 years which is ridiculous.
Everyone who was onboarded 7 days before me are now promoted it's just me who's left. I am really sad after doing so well on the job that even client's product manager sent out a mail for my appreciation.

I am really frustrated bro, if I was onboarded 7 days before I would be A today. Also I couldn't follow RTO in Q1 of this year while I did follow it in Q4 last year. And exactly due to that reason they will stop my promotion
Yes my pm told and it will be effective from April 1st
Promotion for Q1 is over , only option is Q2
Hmm, I knew from start.. that's why it's painful.. I knew I wouldn't get promoted in Q1 so waiting for Q1 to end and see all the friends/colleagues who joined 7 days before me get promoted was painful..do you know when I will get promoted? Apri/May/June?
guyss i got onboarded on 1st December 2022 nd since then continuously am in different different projects just the thing is since this year's January i have stopped going to office because i have been assigned to 0-1 day work model due to medical reason of mine. So in my scenario when can i expect promotion. I'll be completing my 30 months in June

Ask your PM to make your work model as Remote 0-1 Days per week. This will resolve the issue related to RTO.
I also have 36 months of experience in CTS.. They are not even considering my requests for promotion..as per my PM , A to SA will consider if we manage more than 2 projects and we should work above their expectation.. Not sure what is their expectation🙃
Always keep expectations low and ready to be disappointed, I have completed 38 months and working from client location with proper RTO still no promotion.

Same bro i also joined on 7th july.. My friend who joined hl june 20 he got promoted in July 1st🥲
