Trending @Cognizant; What is the one thing you hate about working here at Cognizant ?
I am completely unmotivated to work here anymore. Cognizant treats me like I am a slave and it is killing me on the inside.
I hate the fact that I need to work all day and all night while the lead gets away with presenting everything and taking credit while doing no work.
The worst thing? Her manager accepts this and encourages this.
This is common in every company.
Campany is made by its employees, if you are good with your team then it automatically creates a healthy environment.
I have seen managers pinging their teams after 6pm and ask them to work post working hrs also. If manager stops doing this then automatically the it will create healthy environment in the team.
- Treating juniors as slave.
- Lack of empathy towards others.
- Regional politics.
- Still using the outdated technology.
- Not encouraging to use the newer stack. Hence stops/stagnant the growth.
Cognizant has the worst environment as I saw in my 5 years experience. My manager called me around 10 pm and asked Did you complete that task. I am working in Cognizant but it doesn't mean you are entering my spare or private time .
If you are working for more than 9/10 hours, bring this to notice of your HCM/ practice. Discuss the issue with them and if needed ask for release from the project.
