Came to the office in 2hrs of heavy pune traffic and rain to collaborate with my team sitting in Chennai!
Higer management says coming to the office brings collaboration. I collaborated from my Bathroom and I got 4 ratings and an overperformer tag in my previous company.
When will higher management understand this that the people who really want to do work will always do work. No matter where they are.

Clients Don have problems but cognizant is still forcing employees for wfo.
My colleague mailed the client for wfh. Client said he doesn't have any problem as long as work is completed.
But still the manager is not allowing.
Same here brother. The client is only interested in work. But this management is terrible.
As per my knowledge to improve economy we no need to come office right .
This has nothing to do with the government, which cares about its people just as much as corporates care about their employees 🙂
Cognizant charges clients for ODC rent and giving that up means losing a % of income.
As for non-ODC, they're paying lease and want to maximise occupancy. Also, it's a good chance to invent excuses to let people go.
Same here, I go to the office to collaborate with my team members sitting in Chennai and Bangalore over Microsoft Teams, which I was perfectly doing sitting at home . 😂

Yeah true .in COVID we worked without any effect on deliverables.Now they are threatening if we are not coming office
. As you mentioned we can work anywhere .Past 3yeara we worked from home only .
Government of India is forcing companies for RTO to improve economy of India and increase employment opportunities I think
