Trending @Cognizant; Weird Selection process

I came on bench recently from 5th of July, today I got a call from a project matching my skills...they interviewed me 2 times on call ...then again a call with Lead teams call... whatever technical questions he asked I replied confidentiality with the best of my knowledge and I knew all were correct. The lead when manager left the call told me can we be transparent and let me tell you I found you immature and this role demands team lead kind of role...I told him thanks for your transparancy but I have handled the entire infra with only one more guy in the team and were responsible to manage the whole infra...I have 11 years of experience in Backup and IT...I know this work and I have received appreciation for 4 factors out of 5 from my past project Manager...how can I work in IT and have years of experience worth 10 years if I was immature....this interview was weird...at the end he shared his true intentions that if I plead him and assure him that under your guidance I will learn the tasks well...then he will consider about me..

One thing what I can make out of this whole scenario is firstly I am a woman and how dare I was so confident during the interview,it bothered him....how dare I am not pleading him for God knows what reasons... Third, How come I ask for my preferred location...
