Trending @Cognizant; Want to switch projects internally
Hi team, I work in a CIS domain at cognizant with exactly 1 year of experience. My designation has changed to senior systems Engineer. I have a keen interest in the field of Data Engineer and data analysis but I don't know how I can get into such projects within a company.
Can someone please help ?
In oneC portal - talent market place, go to open SOs and search for data engineer roles. You will find the current open positions. But with one year of experience you may not be considered. Try to ping the manager mentioned in the open position. Also, you need to be on bench to apply or change the position.
You will need approval from HCM for that for 2+ years it’s auto approval
Bro try cyber security, it would be easier for you to switch in that. Also pay is better than data engineers.
Talk to your HCM manager and Sr Manager they will help you..
