Trending @Cognizant; Update on PA-A promotion read it will clarify all your doubts.
I spoke directly with my HR, and they clarified that a separate team handles promotions. This team reviews eligibility criteria and sends the list to the EDL/PDL. The home manager is not involved in this process, so nothing will appear on their dashboard. However, they may be consulted for approval before the final list is sent to HR. If you meet all the eligibility requirements but are still denied a promotion, a valid business justification must be provided for the rejection.

The same happened with me. I asked my manager for this quarter promotion, he told me my name is not in the list.. then he asked me whether I am completing all the criteria. I told yes and shared my goperform dashboard. He now sent a mail to HR asking about the reason of not having my name in list.

I want to know if I’m non adhering to RTO compliance. I am currently working remotely and my trutime and Timesheet is all approved. I joined in October 2022, i want to know will I be eligible for associate promotion or not. However my manager pings me asking to commute to office 5 days a week, but I’m having some issue which I have already explained to manager. Simultaneously he keeps approving my timesheet and TruTime.

No you are not eligible, you should follow your assigned work model, if it is 5 days office you should go 5 days if it is hybrid you should atleast go 3 days a week to office then only they will consider you for promotion.

My assigned model is Remote

What if the EDL is HM
