Trending @Cognizant; Trapped!

Hi guyz I joined cts in 2021 dec with a very good package but now I am in a rattrap. I am in a toxic project with no growth and I am afraid I am losing skills and mentally and emotionally unstable. I am unable to find jobs as we have 90 days NP and when they ask my current LPA, they say their budget is less than that and run away.

90 days notice period should be made illegal. For high skilled employees they can risk resigning first and then searching for a job. After 60 days of notice period for sure you are going to get many interview calls

I joined approximately 4 months after you.. My package is less than 3lpa... I'm in the same trap..

But what we can do is upscale, try to get yourself released from the project (stating that the learning curve is flat). Let's say they release you in 2 months then you can make a request to HR to release asap. Which will be a few days (I hope🤞) then you can say that your np is 2 months and since you've upscaled you can either go for a small or significant hole depends on you.....

This has been my plan to leave the organisation... Guys who have gone through this... Please let me know this approach if feasible/possible or not...

I'm here in Cognizant for 7 years and 5 years of experience in data science, and the compensation I am receiving is 9.6LPA as it is my first company. Though 7 years of experience not even promoted once, even after good ratings for last 2 years and good appreciation from the client.

The great resignation wave has ended after COVID hype and the great layoff wave has started... Most of us switched during the COVID wave and got more than we asked for but now some of the people in the market are over valued and sometimes you have to choose between growth and salary... Keeping in mind salary is not the only measure of your success... But in the end it's a personal call... You will be lucky if you find something where you have growth both financially and technology as well..
