Trending @Cognizant; Switching from Non-IT to IT based Jobs

Hey guys, it's my first time posting here 😄. I work on a Non-IT project for CTS and I'm pretty much fed up of this so called MNC with 3% - 4% peanut hikes. I've been upskilling myself on Cloud technology (mainly GCP) and I've already completed the basic entry level exam for it and now preparing for the advanced level examination. Other than studying computer science in my 11th and 12th, I have no prior experience in IT 😅. I am a graduate though but in a completely different field. So my main question is even though GCP is fairly new in the market as compared to Azure and AWS, is it beneficial for me if I complete my certifications and look for a job in GCP Cloud domain? Me being a person from a complete Non-IT background, is it possible for me to score a job in any company maybe even startups?

If anyone has any idea about this please help me out as it would be a huge help.

Unpopular opinion: To switch from non It to IT you have to upskill so much that you have to be ready to bluff

Gcp is not new but its now in a phase of development, aws is the choice of people and azure is the matured one. if you want go ahead with gcp, no issues

Thank you for your insights 😄. I thought GCP is fairly new as I have heard no one talking about it. Everyone is either talking about Azure or AWS, as they are dominating the market. But I hope since GCP is in a phase of development as you said, going forward there will be ample amount of job opportunities available in GCP domain.
