Trending @Cognizant; Stuck in support for odd client hours. Need advice for switch

Hi guys, I am a PA working under a support project in the ADM domain and have a 2.5 yr experience. I’m continuously up skilling for developer roles as well as cloud but unfortunately not able to get any calls from outside. I want to be in a technical project but I don’t know how to do so. Is it better to switch internally(projects) or better to switch directly to the company. Because my salary is still that 4.5 didn't get any promotions as well. But my juniors are getting more than me🤧😭 So advise me!!!!! #nota90notamillenialnotagenzaswell #2000sborn

Try to switch project internally. For 2.5 YOE I don't think many openings are there outside currently. But keep trying.

Ok thanks for suggesting, but interested in data analyst role, as I could see everywhere it's the topic, so it will get crowded, so not sure

If you are really interested learn and build something so you can explain in your next interview. Keep going.

Switching internally will buy you time but not a higher grade or pay. Keep floating your resume outside and try to stay out of support projects - it will drain your youth faster than you realise.
