Trending @Cognizant; Should I quit? Please help
Hi Guys, I have 2.9 years of experience in SAP, this is my first job and I expected a lot from CTS in the initial days… Actually I’m interested in UX/UI and frontend web development and capable of creating beautifully functional interfaces. I tried to get frontend roles internally but it didn’t help. Reached out to managers for frontend role, didn’t help. Somehow, I got promoted to A and I’m billable working in a project, I have zero interest in SAP, workload and expectations increasing every passing day. My mind driving my brain like “Do this project as long as you can and practice frontend in free time, when it gets too much, ask for release, and start applying to frontend jobs during bench period, and when the day finally comes, leave the city, go to home and join a scaler like platform to get a new job or find on my own”.
I’m getting salary but I’m not happy, I’m not scared of losing my job, but I’m scared of not getting new one if I leave this one and then start. This shit is making me sick to my brain.

Use your free time to practice frontend skills and build a portfolio. Stay connected with people in frontend/UX roles for potential opportunities. Ensure financial stability and start applying for roles while still employed. Highlight transferable skills like problem-solving in your job applications u learnt in sap Set boundaries at work and prioritize your peace
Thanks for the advice, I feel like getting released from project, the work really sucks and they try to keep me busy all the time, so at the and of the day Im full of thoughts and not able to give time for frontend studies, is taking release from the project a good option?
Same here. They put me in salesforce. I am interested working jn react project. I have good skills but not getting any react project. They assigned me salesforce one.
Have zero percent expectations that you will get another project while on the bench.
Better to look outside CTS, anyways it is a sinking ship.
