Trending @Cognizant; Should I leave my company??

I have got 2.8 years of experience in Automation testing Selenium. I am still waiting for my PA to A promotion should I take wait and leave or should I resign right away. Your suggestions will be really helpful. Thank you🙂

First find a job in other company then resign becuase even after promotion you will not get much hike that you can get in switching company.
