Trending @Cognizant; Should I continue or should I quit
I was selected on multi cloud CIS - engineer trainee got training on networking,VMware,SQL servers, database cleared the two interviews in the training and was informed as we will be joining in the support role but some what technical as adminstration or some but ended up in service desk and stucked here for 18 months as my TL said What shall I do on this

Service desk is also now considered as technical administration since you will be doing basic remote troubleshooting in end user Pc’s. It helps build your communication skills, gain exposure to infra related issues and also with troubleshooting. You can use the 18months to do some certification on the field you wish to continue. Once tagged it’s difficult to get release. You should always get the JD and role clearly communicated in email before accepting any project

As a fresher after the training I was auto tagged to a service desk role project there was no way to reject if at all rejected we were sent warning mail and being fresher I did not know much about warning mail so was forced to join in the project
What should I have done there...

Leave support projects, it kills your time
