Trending @Cognizant; Shall i get a promotion (PA-Associate) in the month of July, 2024?
I have been allocated to the project for the month of July 2022. Last year, in July, i became PAT - PA. I have been in the project for 1.8 months.
And i heard that if I become an associate from PA, my package will become 6.5+, is that true?
U need to have 50 percent bilability utilisation and 90% above skill up percentage and 3 rating
I don't think they will check billabilty utilisation. If we have 3 & above rating will get promotion
They will check, i didn't get promoted bcz of this.. i asked my manager and they said it got rejected by HR for not meeting additional criteria and this is introduced in Q4 23 itseems.
If your DOJ is in July then u will come in cycle 3 of promotion criteria so u will get in October 1st week

Cognizant promote employee in 3 cycle Jan to March 1 will be rolled out on 1 week of April
April to June --- 1st week July
July to sept. ---- 1st week oct
Oct to Dec ---- 1st week jan
So accordingly as per your DOJ u will be eligible
- Note if your DOJ is falling after 15 of last cycle month you will be automatically transferred to next cycle.
