Trending @Cognizant; Severance Pay clarification.

Hi all, when we are asked to resign by HR, is it mandatory for us to ask for severance pay ( salary ) of 3-5 months or is it like they're aware and we no need to follow up on that. I am from the Bangalore location. I need your advice on this...

I talked with HR about this pay , what is the proof that they will give for sure after resignation, How can we trust them just by words ? Is everyone doing the same thing

TBH we don't any option. Termination will ruin somewhat organization reputation but it will mostly ruin our career.

When Hr invites you for such meeting. Ask upfront and usually they say "we have a deal for you if you resign right now, we will give you this much salary". You don't resign without any such thing being told. Clear all your doubts first.
