Recently I received verbal communication from my Senior Manager that all the hurdles are now done, and he would be sharing my profile details with the Operations team on Monday.
- What can be the hike %?
- How long it can take to be promoted?
- Whether I would get the Nov hike as well (5% informed by Manager)
I also in the same boat, got verbal communication from HCM supervisor on 6th November that i am getting promoted however hike % was not disclosed at that time. You had 5 rating twice in last 2 years? I didn't even talk about promotion with anyone. He said it's company initiated promotion.
@Covid19 Does SA to M promotion is the default company initiated? May I know what is your last ratings ? Also how much exp you have in cts and overall. More info on this topic would help me and others. Thanks in advance
I don't think any promotion after A is deafult or company initiated. After this incident i dont think There is any set criteria for promotion. Company can do whatever they want. They are creating new criteria every year and based on that promoting people. Since 6th November i have seen few posts where people is getting promoted and i believe all of them had received 5 ratings twice.I have total 14 years of experience and 11 years in cognizant. In last 11 years i had only 1 promotion (SA) and for that also i had to fight for more than 4 years (resigned2 times), in that 4 years people got 2nd promotion. Last rating was 5.
Generally it is 8-12%, including Variable Pay of 150k so in hand it will be 3-4% ideally
I joined as SA since 2021.. still waiting from promotion.,almost completed 5 years., any criteria for this..last 2 rating was 4
