Trending @Cognizant; Resignation info

Hi everyone I got offer from target company they are saying I need to join in 1 month. In cognizant my project allocation is ending on April 30st. If my project manager release me from the project . in bench can i get early release

If you are in bench and then resign, you will be released from cognizant within 1 week. But if you are still in project, and resign then you have to serve your notice period untill of unless the project ramp down and your manager release you to bench already.
My advise is to get the release from project atleast initiate it and then put down your papers.
