Trending @Cognizant; Resignation Confusion

I got an offer from Capgemini on 23rd Jan with 60 days NP. I have not yet resigned till now.

Is it okay to talk to my manager for resignation and ask for 60 days np. Actually I got to know that I have to serve a 90 days Notice Period. What are the chances that my Manager will relieve me in 60 days.

Capgemini HR said they can extend my DOJ as per my last working day email.

I don't know what to do now. Confused.

If you have paid leaves left you can use them to decrease your notice period otherwise if you are on bench they can release you early, if on project they won't do easily

You have any idea on Notice Period buyout ?

You can request for a buyout option as well as leaves to utilise those to compensate the last 30 days! You can talk to HR and your manager on this.
