Hey folks! Planning to resign today—have a buyout offer ready.

Couple of things I’m confused about:

1. When’s the right time to resign so my last salary doesn’t get stuck till FNF? Any hacks?

2. Is buyout a right or just a privilege? What to do if HR resists—any clauses or rules I can use to push for it?
