Trending @Cognizant; Request for Release from project
Hi! - I have joined in October 2023 in Cognizant and allocated to a new project Direct TV immediately. The scope of work is totally different and there is no work to my skill set. Can I request for release and go to other project.
Q) if I do not get a project in 2 months. Will HR give another 3 months of notice period or how it is?
Any one please tell me the bench process?

If your skillset is not matching you can ask for release. Search for projects on TMP. If you don't find enough projects start looking outside.
In case if I do not get any project in 2 months. Will they allow another 3 months or they just release by saying 3 months salary and get lost ?
See they will say that after sometime but if you want more time and if such times come you can go on medical leaves. But since I went through this process I can say just look outside and it will be better for you.
