I have a question regarding my work location. I have been working from CBE for the past year. There is a client ODC) in, and I am slated to become a (PA) THIS month.
I want to change my location to NORTH, but there is no ODC there. I have asked to relocate multiple times (2-3 times), but my requests have been denied. I am determined to change my location, so I'm seeking advice on what options I have.
What are the possible ways I can choose to relocate?
What would be the consequences if I were to directly report from the HOME LOCATION location without informing my EMPLOYER? THEY have given to HYD few people (with no Odc)
Could anyone suggest some legitimate ways I might be able to facilitate this relocation? For instance, would providing a genuine reason like medical issues, a family issue be considered? I am looking for ethical and permissible avenues."
Or should I take release from project or what can I do?
First contact your project manager and ask if you can report from your location. In my case I was given the option of reporting from any location. So as your manager of he's ok with it he'll raise the request for location change. For some projects they strictly stick o the locations where they've ODCs given to their project. So check it and then do what needs to be done.
