I was promoted to Associate in October. My manager mentioned that the salary revision will be based on my previous (PA) CTC.
Could anyone please confirm !
Why? It should be on latest CTC, looks like finance people are having too many ways to give less to the associates. Very pathetic.
The yearly performance hikes are based on last year's performance. They'll give you that hike based on last year's performance and CTC because that's the year being evaluated. It is what it is my friend.
Then they should give max by 1st April every year, if they are giving in November and doing such cheap cost saving things, then it is not good. Anyway it is one way road(top down decision), so doesn’t matter to them.
