Trending @Cognizant; Promotion to Associate
Hi All. I joined cognizant in August 25 2022. I got rating of 2 due to non billable project and promoted to PA. At December 2023 I got Project End Appraisal with rating 2 due to non billable. I got into project in January 2024. Will I get Promoted to Associate (7lpa) in QEA testing.
Even if you would have gotten 3 rating, still it is almost impossible to be promoted to associate. They have increased so many rules and even if you satisfy all except 1 , you wouldn't be promoted
What all are the new rules?
for me, they considered if I'm attending to office 3 days per week which is expected in our project. This is one rule they considered not to approve my promotion even though I have 4 and 5 ratings last two terms and 7 years of experience in Cognizant and 7 years of being an Associate. I'm also sure that they have budget in our account too, yet promotion is not approved
The last two rating should be above 3. Only then you will be considered for promotion
No rating 3 and above required
