usually HR shares the eligible people's list to senior managers, engagement delivery leads, directors etc etc people but not to the home manager, that's the reason managers say we don't have any list but they need to check with their leads, some manager's will be helpful some won't even care, next the process is you should be eligible in all aspects whatever they have mentioned and in the shared list it will be mentioned in an Excel format like all the eligible things are green on your name or not, here comes the main picture, it's not auto promotion, your leads need to resend/ approve your name for promotion and sends back the list to HR as your name is approved for promotion and main thing is don't think that you will be promoted even if all things are green for you because in some projects there will be some budget issues etc etc reasons they will say you and stops your promotion. Finally after leads sharing your promotion approval to HR again, then HR initiates the process and sends email to Home manager as you got promoted, now the HM knows that you are promoted, here HM role is less.some leads inform managers as you are promoted some won't that's why some manager's says they don't know anything
