Hi guys! Need your guidance to understand the process for promotion from A to SA in Cognizant.
Will be completing 3 years soon in Cognizant.
After speaking with my manager will he raise the iRise request or he approves after i raise? Currently i don't see a possibility to create iRise request on TMP.
Also did anyone receive promotion eligibility email, or an email mentioning completion of 2 years within the org? Please can you confirm the subject line for such emails if you're aware?
For promotion completely depends on your dependency in your project and rating if there is no dependency better to switch instead of promotion. There is lot of process for promotion from a to sa like your billing need to be increased by client and so need to create that need to be approved by higher management
33 months are sufficient for promotion if u have above 3 rating continuously
irise /SO will be created by Manager
Depends completely on the project no other way,
you can try via IJM and search for eligible promotion roles
If you want a promotion in the same project it's a competition between all resources in that project
