Trending @Cognizant; Promotion from A to SA
I am an associate/Project Coordinator and my manager has promised me for a promotion, he mentioned something to do with IJM and in TMP. Can someone explain me the process and will I surely be promoted ? Are there any challenges/hindrance to with this ?

IJM means Internal Job Movement..but in CTS it is used for promotion ok.... For promotion, only manager can raise SO and he needs to follow up on it .... TMP is a allocation portal in 1C, where all kind of allocations done there... IJM and TMP only Manager can do not u.... Just ask him whether IJM SO is created or not.... He says created means, then sure in next slot u will get promoted... There are slots for promotions too, because CTS have to focus on larger scale promotion na, so slots are introduced..... Just ask for IJM SO..
Bro Not sure how your manager is but one thing is sure, CTS promotion process is so annoying if you are getting it i would say chase your manager until you get it. I have been waiting since last August but I'm still not promoted. TMP is a tool in OneC where you can see the eligible vacancies with promotion rest you'll be able to understand. IJM is an email which you receive once eligible for promotion.All the best.
