I got 2 ratings last YEA since I did not complete the assigned course. I am in a project from the time I have joined cognizant. Got billable this year in JAN and my 2 years will be completed in September. Will I get hike ( August ) or promotion from PA to A this September or next quarter?
Sorry to say, you will not get promoted unless you get a 3 or 3+ rating. If they want to promote you need Directors approval.

Bro prepare to switch , there is nothing for you in Cognizant. If you start now , it will take months for switch and you will get 8 LPA easily outside. I myself got 2 rating on previous and I also don't know that minimum rating criteria, I would have started preparing for it.
I'm not sure I saw a snippet where 4 was mentioned. Previously it was 3.
