In Cognizant, I have seen, In current days freshers give ample time to get their first promotion with less CTC, They have to give an average of 3 years to get their first promotion.

I have also seen it in Management, they are getting early promotions from MANAGER TO SDM, SDM TO DGM, DGM TO GM..
