Trending @Cognizant; Project release criteria

Is there any criteria in cognizant like if our performance is not upto the mark. They can release immediately or minimum 6 months we should be there in project. I got assigned to a project in last week of April.

It completely depends on the manager, they can even release in 5-7 days if not working as per expectations

Ok. Since I am new to the assigned technology. My manager said he will see/observe for 6 months in which 2 months completed remaining are 4 months. Considering 'NOT UPTO THE EXPECTATIONS' criteria. Any idea what may happen other than bench?
