Trending @Cognizant; Possibility of Early Release from CTS

Hey Guys,

I joined CTS three months ago and have been allocated to a project. However, I've noticed that I don't have any significant dependencies on me within the project and I'm not developing my skills here, no growth whatsoever.

Having said that, I'm exploring the possibility of an early release from CTS as I've couple of offers. Has anyone been in a similar situation or know if this might be feasible? Can this 90 days notice period be shortened out? Appreciate any advice.

If you have completed only 3 months, then you can abscond. 3 months experience gap won't create any issue in your career.

I don't think absconding is a very good option here as it might create some issues in my future employment. I mean I'm not sure though but why to take a chance.

CTS is a company where management will beg you to get hired when they need you, when they don't need a resource then they will start explaining different policies to get rid of a resource.

It depends on your service line/ domain most now they are not allowing resource early release because lot of people have put down paper in most of the domain. Because it required BU head approval ( D+ APPROAVL) and then HR approval (SR manager).

There is no growth for most of the lateral hired associates.. Cognizant does not believe in skill up.. always need ready to deliver associates from Market based on client requirement that why hire and fire throughout the year..

Did you recieve any joining bonus here? You can ask for release from current project and resign and contact talent manager for early release.
