Trending @Cognizant; PAT at Cognizant: Seeking Guidance on Learning, Bench Concerns, and Career Growth

Hello, I am from Cognizant (PAT). I completed my CSD training and joined as an FTE in May 2024. However, I have not been assigned any tasks yet and am currently in a non-billable role. My training was in a different domain, but my project is in another domain. They have asked me to learn Java Microservices in just one week, whereas I come from an Electronics and Communication (EC) background and am still learning coding but they are telling no opportunities and not giving time to skill up myself. Can anyone suggest what I should do? I also have concerns that they might put me on the bench after completing one year as a PAT. Additionally, could someone please explain the promotion criteria from PAT to PA? And also I wish to stay in development side only so please pour ur suggestions/ guidelines
