I am. Data engineer on aws and databricks. Having 6.u years experience. Rank associate witj current package 9.5 lpa. Recently got an offer from ey for 17.8. Is it good or am I loosing out based on market rate?
Are these fixed or ctc? If fixed then its fair, if not then slightly less. People will say its not upto standard, but to remind you. You are not living in 2022, where the salaries were over-hyped. And in current scenario getting package over 20Lac is tough. Even many of the high paying startups that used to give 30-35 lac are now paying around 25 for SDE2 role.
Fixed is 16. Rest is variable. For the current, fixed is 8.82, rest variable. I think I am getting a little below the market, but still, I am not unhappy or something, just wanted to find if I was making a mistake with the numbers by a high margin. Thanks for your insights!
