Hi I joined cognizant on 30th June 2021 as a Programmer Trainee(PT) then got mandatory promotion to Programmer(P) on July 1 2022. In year 2021 i was not eligible for year end rating. In 2022 i got 5/5 rating and also P to Programmer Analyst(PA) Promotion on Oct 01 2023( my manager delayed 3 months even though had good rating).
In 2023 I got released from my first project and joined new project because of normalisation and promotion on the current year my new manager gave 4/5 rating. For 2024 I got 5/5 rating again by proving my work.
Now when will i get my PA to Associate(A) promotion. June month 30th 2025 is 4 years in CTS.

Additional notes: I didn’t followed 3 days RTO but my manager doesn’t raise that as a concern and he said PA to A promotion is automated and whenever it asks for a approval I will do.

Haha manager can approve and that nomination goes to HR, then the final thing will be in HR hand, HR checks whether you are meeting all criteria or not, they if you are missing any criteria, they will differ your promotion and sends email to manager

Don’t believe manager not raising concerns of RTO. In the end when leadership will question manager will raise their hand. For my year end rating manager told me same like. I didn’t go to office for 2 months due to medical reasons, so Cognizant leadership is saying not to give 5 ratings. These are all the reasons they have just to decrease our ratings. Then when I said I have medical reasons and got permission as well, manager said you should have done automations that’s why we cannot give 5. These are all tactics they use. For one year they never mentioned of automation and year end when it’s time for rating they are saying this. It’s all a scam
