Trending @Cognizant; PA to A promotion
I joined Cognizant as a fresher as PT(Programmer Trainee) on June 30, 2021. Since I am from Arts BSc Computer Science background and not Engineering. I got my mandatory promotion to P(programmer) 1 year later on June 30, 2022. 1st year we don't have rating policy. For second year I got 5/5 star rating and I got my next promotion to PA(Programmer Analyst) on Oct 01, 2023. 1 year and 3 months from P. Second year rating for 2023 is 4. Now 3 rd year completed for me on June 30, 2024 when will I get my PA to A promotion ?
Here is the difference due to the engineering quota and B.Sc graduation quota. After being promoted from PT to P and then P to PA, you have to serve as PA for 18 months to 24 months to be eligible for the Associate role.
Note: this is in the case of Bachelor graduates, not engineers.
